My lifestyle is oriented to preserve health and youth as long as possible, until the super drugs come along to end aging. Red light, sleep tracking, sauna, lifting, nutrition, supplementation — the whole stack. I genuinely believe we can live forever if the industry gets enough attention and capital. Longevity means control and ultra optimism to me.

I co-lead Don't Die SF, a longevity-focused community in the Bay Area. Fun workouts and longevity talks/meetups. The messages I want to send:

Where I came from

Shaoxing → SF.

I grew up in Shaoxing — a small water town in Zhejiang, China, about an hour from Hangzhou. Famous for its rice wine, calligraphy, and Lu Xun.

I came to the US in 2011 at 17 for college. Most Chinese kids are sent abroad — I volunteered. Something in me felt stifled by the scripted path: right college, steady job, right husband, kids by a deadline, and the censored environment. I didn't know to call it freedom yet, but that's what I was chasing.

Six years on the east coast, then Bay Area in 2017, and into SF proper in 2024. Plan to stay in SF for the foreseeable future — but open to moving for the right person and the right people around them.

My adulthood happened here, and the Bay Area is where I found myself — I know who Elaine is, and what she wants after 20 years of wondering. Home is here, not China.
